Rosmerta Technologies - Quality Software Testing Assurance Engineer - Selenium

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Software Testing Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, particularly within the domains of Vehicle Tracking Systems (VTS) and Intelligent Traffic Management Systems (ITMS).

This role involves both manual and automated testing, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The successful candidate must be an immediate joiner with 4-7 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities :

Test Planning and Design :

- Develop and maintain test scripts for both manual and automated testing.

- Identify and prioritize test scenarios based on risk and business impact.

Test Execution :

- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.

- Conduct API testing using relevant tools.

- Test software across different environments and platforms.

Defect Management :

- Work closely with developers to understand and resolve identified issues.

- Participate in defect triage meetings and follow up on bug fixes.

Automation :

- Contribute to the automation framework and identify areas for automation.

- Analyze automation test results and identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Communicate effectively with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders regarding test progress, results, and potential risks.

- Provide timely and accurate test reports and summaries.

Quality Assurance Best Practices :

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and standards.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and techniques.

Skills :

Mandatory :

- Hands-on experience in testing Vehicle Tracking Systems (VTS).

- Hands-on experience in testing Intelligent Traffic Management Systems (ITMS).

- Proficiency in both manual and automated software testing methodologies.

- Strong experience with Selenium for test automation.

- Experience using JIRA or TestRail for test management and defect tracking.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.

- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).

- Good understanding of SQL for database testing.

Preferred :

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

- Understanding of different testing frameworks
