Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) (Automation Testing, Selenium, C#, Basic Database exposure, API Testing)

Summary :

We are looking for an SDET Contractor to join a high-profile project.

In this role, you will modernize test automation for our WAVE Tactical Push to Talk on-premise solution.

You will be an integral part of an Agile team, supporting the full product development lifecycle.

This includes overseeing product automation initiatives and collaborating with SDETs and QA Engineers to deliver end-to-end automation for both product and bench testing.

This is a hybrid position based at the client office at Manyata Techpark Bangalore, where you will be expected to be in the office 3 days a week.

Technical Skills :

- 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong emphasis on test automation.

- Proficiency in test automation coding with C#, Python, or Java.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and utilize complex SQL databases and queries.

- Proven experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Cypress, or TestCafe.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to identify risks and errors within applications.

- Experience in network protocols, http(s), TCP/IP, and UDP

- Knowledge of behavior-driven development.

- Understanding of virtualization technologies like VMware, Linux KVM, or other enterprise-grade hypervisors is essential for development testing.

- AI Test Automation experience is a plus.

Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
