We are looking for a Senior Performance Engineer with strong experience in performance engineering and benchmarking for Java enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in performance testing tools and cloud-native technologies, with a proven ability to analyze and optimize system performance in complex, distributed environments.

As a Senior Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for developing performance test strategies and plans based on business requirements and system designs.

- You will design and execute performance test scripts, analyze test results to identify bottlenecks and performance issues, and provide detailed performance reports along with recommendations for improvement.

- This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and ensure performance goals are achieved.

- Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous development of performance testing methodologies and stay current with industry tools and best practices.

- You will work in an agile environment with geographically distributed teams.

- The role demands hands-on experience with tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Locust for load testing, and scripting in Python or Shell.

- Experience with profiling tools such as JProfiler or Java Flight Recorder, and with distributed tracing tools like Elastic APM, Jaeger, or OpenTracing, is essential.

- Proficiency in working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Oracle and MongoDB, along with search platforms like ElasticSearch, is required.

- A strong understanding of cloud-native microservices architectures and platforms including Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS is expected.

- You should be able to plan, execute, and interpret performance and stress tests to identify system limitations and guide engineering improvements.

- Candidates must hold a BTech or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, and have a minimum of 6 years of experience in performance engineering for Java enterprise applications
