Role Overview :

The role oversees installations, configurations, upgrades, and network security, ensuring reliable WAN/LAN performance.
It includes resolving complex issues by collaborating with vendors and internal teams, managing escalations, and maintaining strong, clear communication with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Network, Infrastructure & Security Oversight :
- Manage WAN/LAN, wireless networks, cloud services, and related hardware/software.
- Configure and troubleshoot Aruba Switch/UniFi APs, and Sophos/Fortinet firewalls.
- Monitor system performance, ensure backups, disaster recovery readiness, and overall network security.
- Handle firewall/VPN setups, antivirus systems, and security patching.
- Support infrastructure planning and improvements.
System Management & Employee IT Support :
- Provide support for Windows/Mac OS, business applications, and internal tools.
- Manage Google Workspace (users, groups, licensing, update and migration).
- Handle software installations, updates, deployments, and maintain technical documentation.
- Respond to IT issues and provide timely on-site/remote support.
- Manage IT onboarding (system setup, account creation) and offboarding (asset handover, remove access, etc).
- Communicate system incidents and IT updates to employees.
Stakeholder Management (Internal & External) :
- Liaise with vendors/service partners for IT products and support.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and lifecycle records.
- Manage procurement, licenses, AMC renewals, and vendor contracts.
- Coordinate with finance on IT budgeting and audit requirements.
- Maintain IT stock records and reports.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems, or network administration.
- Strong hands-on expertise with : Firewalls/VPN (Sophos/Fortinet), Aruba/UniFi access points.
- Deep understanding of WAN/LAN, network monitoring, and cloud/wireless environments & proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to plan and optimize infrastructure in a growing organization.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science.
- Previous experience working in IT organisations is preferred.
- Any related professional certifications (CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Hardware & System Support, CompTIA A+, Operating Systems, Linux Essentials).
- Certifications like MCSA, CCNA, AWS or similar are preferred.
