- Implement tracking-by-detection pipelines, sensor fusion, and object tracking algorithms in real-time environments.
- Perform sensor calibration, including extrinsic and intrinsic calibration of LiDARs (e.g., Velodyne, Ouster), 3D cameras (e.g., ZED, Intel RealSense), and IMUs.
- Process and analyze point cloud data from multiple sensors to build accurate 3D representations of the environment.
- Integrate and test software modules on robotic hardware using ROS/ROS2 and ensure smooth communication between various subsystems.
- Deploy optimized inference pipelines using TensorRT and other tools for real-time perception tasks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, mechanical, and embedded software engineers to ensure seamless integration.
- Contribute to system-level design reviews and participate in architecture planning.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, while maintaining effective documentation and communication.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and autonomous navigation technologies.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++.
- In-depth experience with OpenCV, Point Cloud Library (PCL), and PyTorch for computer vision and deep learning applications.
- Hands-on experience working with LiDARs, depth cameras, and other sensors commonly used in robotic systems.
- Proficiency in developing and optimizing real-time pipelines using TensorRT or equivalent libraries.
- Demonstrated ability to handle tasks such as sensor calibration, object tracking, and point cloud processing.
- Solid understanding and practical use of ROS/ROS2, with experience in developing custom nodes and launching multi-sensor configurations.
- Exposure to ADAS concepts including obstacle detection, forward collision warnings, and sensor fusion strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with robotic platforms such as mobile robots, drones, or autonomous vehicles.
- Knowledge of SLAM, path planning, or control algorithms.
- Contributions to open-source robotics projects or published research papers in related fields.
- Experience working in agile development environments with tools like Git, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker).
