Description
- Design, develop, and implement advanced control algorithms for robotic systems using RL, IL, and VLA methodologies.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and researchers within the Robotics & Embodied AI team.
- Conduct cutting-edge research in areas such as motion planning, manipulation, and autonomous decision-making for robots.
- Prototype and validate algorithms in simulated and real-world environments, utilising platforms such as ROS, NVIDIA Omniverse ISAAC Sim, and industry-standard toolkits like Gymnasium and similar.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven controls into next-generation robotic products.
- Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals; contribute to patent generation and intellectual property development.
- Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in AI, robotics, and simulation environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in robotics research, focusing on controls using RL, IL, or related techniques.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++ programming.
- Expertise with Ubuntu or similar Linux Distributions & Shell Scripting
- Expertise with Docker & Containerization approaches and exposure to Cloud services & model deployments
- Track record of developing and deploying algorithms in real-world robotic systems.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with Robot Operating System (ROS) for robotic software integration.
- Experience with NVIDIA Omniverse ISAAC Sim, MuJoCo, Gazebo or similar for simulation and testing of robotic controls.
- Knowledge of industry-standard simulation and RL toolkits such as Gymnasium or similar
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Expertise in multi-agent systems, sensor fusion, computer vision, or natural language processing in robotics contexts.
- Experience in leading research projects or engineering teams.
