If so, our team would love to have you! As part of the Edge com puting product engineering team, you will develop and improve new and existing features and be exposed to the full product lifecycle .

Youll help build and support Edge computing product with various Virtualization, cloud platforms across its broad customer install base, and youll have an ownership stake in the products future.

Riverbeds unique Edge computing product is a data management solution primarily designed to address the challenges of managing data in remote and branch offices. It offers a unique approach to data management by creating a virtual copy of on-premises storage at the branch location with SteelFusion Edge appliance, providing local access to data, improving performance and reducing latency.

What You Will Do :

- Work on various storage protocols like iSCSI, FC and NFS across different enterprise level storage array and block and file storages with popular cloud service providers

- Design, implement, and unit test Edge computing product features, with end-to-end responsibility for feature success throughout the development lifecycle

- Troubleshoot, debug, and fix in market product capabilities

- Collaborate across Riverbed teams on various cross-product Steelcentral controller and SteelHead features and initiatives.

- Work in an agile environment with a regular release cadence

- Work closely with the Riverbed engineering in Bangalore

What Makes You An Ideal Candidate :

- 3 + years of professional hands-on software engineering experience

- Domain Knowledge in Linux, Windows and knowledge in o ne of the virtualization/ storage protocols /Filesystems/snapshot & backup/replication technologies.

A minimum of one or two of the following skillsets is required.

- Experience in applications built over various storage protocols like iSCSI, FC/NFS

- Experience with Block Storage

- Experience with Filesystem development like NFS/CIFS/SMB

- Deep understanding of Linux (ext4.) and Windows Filesystems (NTFS / ReFS ) or VMFS

Or

- Experience in various virtualization technologies.

- Experience with KVM / HyperV / VMware / AHV

- Experience with vSphere SDK / Windows SDK development

Or

- Experience in snapshot /b ackup technologies.

- Familiarity with VMware VADP, Microsoft VSS and backup methodologie s

- Worked on b ackup applications , s napshots

Or

- Experience in storage replication technologies

- Understanding of block and file replication algorithms

- Understanding of Checksum/Hashing
