Job Title : RIMS Data Migration Lead (TrackWise to Vault RIM)

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced RIMS Data Migration Lead to drive and manage large-scale, regulated data migration programs from TrackWise to Veeva Vault RIM.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Life Sciences regulatory systems, migration governance, and compliance-driven transformation programs.

This role requires strong leadership capabilities, hands-on experience in regulated data migration, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across business, quality, regulatory, and technology teams to ensure a seamless migration process while maintaining compliance standards.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Data Migration Leadership & Strategy :

- Lead end-to-end TrackWise to Veeva Vault RIM data migration programs in regulated Life Sciences environments.

- Define and execute migration strategy, roadmap, and implementation plans aligned with business objectives.

- Drive migration planning, cutover strategy, and deployment activities to ensure successful transition with minimal business disruption.

- Manage program governance, stakeholder communication, and project execution across cross-functional teams.

Data Analysis & Migration Governance :

- Oversee data profiling activities to assess source system quality, completeness, and migration readiness.

- Define and manage source-to-target data mapping between TrackWise and Vault RIM.

- Establish and monitor data reconciliation processes to ensure migration accuracy and completeness.

- Lead migration validation activities, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

- Develop migration frameworks, standards, and best practices for regulated environments.

Compliance & Validation

- Ensure migration activities adhere to GxP, CSV (Computer System Validation), and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements.

- Maintain audit readiness and support regulatory inspections related to migration activities.

- Collaborate with Quality and Compliance teams to validate system and data migration processes.

- Ensure proper documentation of migration artifacts, validation evidence, and governance controls.

Stakeholder & Client Management

- Act as a key point of contact for clients, business users, and leadership teams.

- Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and stakeholder governance meetings.

- Coordinate with Veeva SI (System Integrator) / Professional Services teams for migration planning and execution.

- Provide status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders.

Risk Management & Quality Assurance

- Identify migration risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring timely mitigation.

- Drive quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of migration accuracy.

- Ensure successful cutover execution and post-migration reconciliation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in Data Migration programs (Preferably in Life Science).

- Strong expertise in TrackWise data model, data migration, and regulatory systems.

- Proven experience leading TrackWise to Veeva Vault RIM migration programs.

- Hands-on experience in data profiling, source-to-target mapping, data reconciliation, and migration validation.

- Strong understanding of GxP Compliance, CSV (Computer System Validation), and 21 CFR Part 11.

- Experience managing migration strategy, cutover planning, audit readiness, and stakeholder governance.

- Strong client-facing, communication, and leadership skills.

- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive project delivery in regulated environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to Documentum, OpenText, and SmartSolve platforms.

- Knowledge of eCTD (Electronic Common Technical Document) and IDMP (Identification of Medicinal Products).

- Experience collaborating with Veeva System Integrator (SI) / Professional Services teams.

- PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred.
