Description :

We are looking for a proactive Junior QA Engineer to join our growing team. This role requires close collaboration with developers and product teams to ensure software quality through structured testing, defect tracking, and continuous improvement.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Understand business and functional requirements of the application.

- Design, write, and execute test cases based on product requirements.

- Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.

- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues.

- Participate in test planning, test strategy, and release activities.

- Support automation testing initiatives.

- Perform API testing and database validation.

- Ensure timely delivery of testing activities with high quality.

Requirements :

- 2 to 4 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.

- Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.

- Experience in writing clear and effective test cases and test scenarios.

- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

- Basic understanding of SQL queries and database testing.

- Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman.

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Good to have :

- Exposure to automation testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar.

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.

- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
