About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our growing AI Practice.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of Generative AI (GenAI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications, with a strong emphasis on building and deploying LLM-driven solutions and cloud-native AI pipelines.
As part of a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will design, develop, and scale AI systems that address complex challenges in Life Sciences and Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and deploy end-to-end ML and GenAI solutions (e.g., LLM-powered search, summarization, predictive modeling).
- Build scalable ML pipelines using MLflow, Databricks, and AWS Sagemaker.
- Develop RESTful APIs and inference services using FastAPI, Docker, and microservices architecture.
- Work with diverse data formats (structured and unstructured : CSV, JSON, PDFs, EMRs).
- Optimize data processing workflows using PySpark, SQL, and AWS RDS.
- Integrate and operationalize foundation models and LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Cohere, Claude, AWS Bedrock).
- Monitor and maintain production ML systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across data engineering, cloud, and product.
- Document model lineage, metadata, and performance in compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications :
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering.
- Proficient in Python, with experience in FastAPI, PySpark, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of machine learning workflows and best practices (training, validation, deployment).
- Expertise in MLflow for experiment tracking, model versioning, and CI/CD.
- Demonstrated experience in Generative AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
- Working knowledge of Databricks, Delta Lake, and AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, Bedrock).
- Familiarity with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and cloud DevOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in the Life Sciences or Healthcare domain (e.g., clinical data, EMRs, RWD/RWE).
- Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, or GxP guidelines for AI workflows.
- Exposure to vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone) and RAG (retrieval-augmented generation).
- Understanding of model monitoring, drift detection, and responsible AI principles.
Education :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
