We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead to join our team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong background in software quality assurance and a passion for automation.

Job Description :

As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading and executing test plans, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. You will work closely with the development team and a manager to define and implement testing strategies, focusing on automation, functional, and end-to-end integration testing. Your expertise will be crucial in mentoring team members, improving QA processes, and maintaining a high standard of quality across our products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and execute test plans under the guidance of a manager.

- Conduct functional, regression, and E2E integration testing to ensure software quality.

- Develop and maintain robust test case automation frameworks.

- Drive and implement BDD/TDD frameworks.

- Perform API testing to validate service functionality.

- Collaborate with developers to understand code and improve testability.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Experience : 9+ years in software quality assurance, with significant hands-on automation experience.

- Automation Tools : Strong proficiency with Selenium, Cucumber, and Karate.

- API Testing : Hands-on experience with tools like Postman or SOAPUI.

- Programming & Databases :

1. Solid Java & Spring knowledge, with the ability to understand and debug code.

2. Familiarity with databases such as MS SQL or Oracle.

- Version Control : Experience with Bitbucket or similar version control systems.

- Methodologies : Deep understanding of QA processes and experience with BDD/TDD frameworks.

- Analytical & Communication : Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential for this role.

Bonus Skills :

- Familiarity with monitoring and security tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or Checkmarx.
