Reve - Software Engineer - CI/CD Tools

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java build tools, CI/CD ecosystems, and dependency management, and should be comfortable working in fast-paced engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build Engineering & Automation Develop, maintain, and optimize Java build pipelines using Maven.

- Manage and enhance Konflux-based build systems for scalable product delivery.

- Create, configure, and troubleshoot CI/CD jobs in Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

- Implement automated workflows to ensure efficient, reliable, and repeatable build processes.

- Dependency & Repository Management Manage Maven repositories using Artifactory or Nexus.

- Ensure dependency hygiene, version control, binary management, and artifact traceability.

- Maintain and upgrade repository structures for performance and security. Source Code & Environment Operations

- Work extensively with Git for version control branching strategies, merge workflows, and release tag management.

- Ensure build environment stability on Linux, including scripting for automation, environment setup, and troubleshooting.

- Collaborate closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams on Kubernetes-based deployments.

- Pipeline Orchestration & Cloud-Native Tools Develop and manage pipelines using Tekton; integrate with CI/CD flows.

- Support or contribute to Argo (ArgoCD/Argo Workflows) when required for cloud-native delivery automation.

- Optimize pipeline performance, scaling, and reliability across distributed systems.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Maven build systems.

- Strong working knowledge of CI/CD tools Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

- Experience with Maven artifact repositories Artifactory or Nexus.

- Proficiency in Git, Linux command-line, and environment-level debugging.

- Understanding of Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and YAML-based configurations.

- Experience with Tekton pipelines or Argo workflows.

- Good to Have Experience working with Gradle build systems.

- Contribution to open-source projects. Exposure to AI/ML tools, AI-driven CI/CD, or AI-integrated build automation.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a bonus.

- Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, SRE, and DevOps.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on build stability, performance, and security.
