Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer responsible for building, configuring, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure with strong focus on WAN readiness, DNS administration, firewall policies, and secure access management.

The role requires deep knowledge of routing, switching, network security, and Microsoft 365 endpoint configuration, ensuring high network availability and performance for business operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Network Design, Configuration & Implementation :

- Lead end-to-end WAN readiness planning, deployment, and optimization across locations.

- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN devices.

- Implement and maintain scalable network architectures supporting multi-site enterprise environments.

- Conduct capacity planning, network performance tuning, and bandwidth utilization reviews.

DNS, Security & Firewall Management :

- Configure DNS, DHCP, IP addressing schemes, and ensure domain name resolution efficiency.

- Design, implement, and audit firewall rules/policies to safeguard network layers.

- Monitor security alerts, intrusion attempts, and respond proactively to threats.

- Manage site-to-site VPN, SSL VPN access, and secure remote connectivity frameworks.

Infrastructure Monitoring & Support :

- Maintain high network uptime, troubleshoot outages, latency issues, failovers, and packet loss.

- Use monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.) for proactive issue resolution.

- Execute backup, patching, and firmware upgrades for networking hardware regularly.

- Coordinate with ISPs and OEM vendors for escalations, link management & service restoration.

Cloud & Endpoint Management :

- Configure and manage M365 endpoints, user access, network policies and device compliance.

- Support integration with Azure AD, Intune policies, and cloud-based identity access models.

- Ensure secure connectivity for hybrid infrastructure and cloud-hosted workloads.

Documentation & Compliance :

- Maintain updated network diagrams, configuration in repositories, and change management logs.

- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, security standards, and compliance frameworks.

- Prepare root cause analysis (RCA), incident reports, and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies :

- 7 to 10 years experience in enterprise network engineering and operations.

- Strong expertise in WAN connectivity, DNS management, firewall configuration and network segmentation.

- Hands-on experience with routing (OSPF, BGP), switching (VLAN, STP, EtherChannel), and NAT.

- Good understanding of M365 endpoints, Azure AD/Intune policies, and device management.

- Familiarity with Cisco/Juniper/ FortiGate / Palo Alto / Check Point devices (any).

- Proficiency in network monitoring tools, troubleshooting utilities, packet analyzers (Wireshark).

- Strong problem-solving mindset, incident ownership, and escalation management.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have) :

- Industry Certifications : CCNA/CCNP, JNCIS/JNCIP, Azure Administrator, Fortinet NSE.

- Experience in SD-WAN, Zero Trust Network security and cloud-network integration.

- Knowledge of scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python) for network task automation
