Reve - DevOps Engineer - Build & Release

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :


- Manage Releases: Oversee the software release lifecycle from planning to deployment across multiple environments.


- Automate Processes: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating build, test, and deployment workflows.


- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Development, QA, and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration and resolve release issues.


- Maintain Infrastructure: Manage configuration and build systems for consistency and efficiency.


- Monitor & Troubleshoot: Ensure stability during releases, monitor pipelines, and resolve deployment issues.


- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for release processes and technical guides.


- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and stay updated with the latest cloud, Konflux, and software supply chain technologies.


- Tools & Communication: Utilize Jira, Slack, and other internal tools for collaboration.


Required Skills & Qualifications :


- Experience: 35 years as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.


Technical Expertise :


- Strong in Linux (RHEL preferred), command-line utilities, and container technologies.


- Hands-on experience with Python and Bash scripting.


- Deep understanding of Git (GitHub / GitLab) and CI/CD tools (Tekton, Argo).


- Familiar with Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, and cloud technologies.


- Methodologies: Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile practices.


- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.


Good to Have :


- Experience contributing to open-source projects.


- Knowledge of Golang, Java, or Node.js.


- Exposure to Azure or Google Cloud.


- Understanding of cryptography, digital signatures, and key management.


- Familiarity with software supply chain principles and Red Hat technologies.


- Experience with Podman and databases.


- Interest or experience in AI-based development
