Role : E-commerce QA Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented E-commerce QA Specialist to validate and ensure the functional accuracy of our e-commerce systems.

You will drive quality assurance across the entire customer journey-testing workflows, conducting UAT, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform end-to-end functional testing of e-commerce modules : browsing, product search, cart, checkout, payments, and order tracking.

- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders before every release.

- Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers for timely resolution.

- Validate integrations with external systems, including ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and logistics platforms.

- Create and maintain test cases, scenarios, regression suites, and validation scripts.

- Participate in release validation, smoke testing, and post-production verification.

Business & Functional Analysis :

- Translate business requirements into actionable and testable use cases.

- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements; create BRDs and FSDs.

- Ensure comprehensive functional coverage for all user journeys and scenarios.

Collaboration & Process Improvement :

- Contribute actively in sprint planning, demos, standups, and retrospectives.

- Provide process improvement suggestions to drive QA quality and efficiency.

- Prepare detailed test summary reports, defect metrics, and traceability matrices.

- Support release readiness reviews with thorough documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

- 2-5 years of QA or functional testing experience in e-commerce platforms.

- Hands-on expertise in Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom-built systems.

- Strong knowledge of API testing, data validation, and integration workflows.

- Ability to write and manage test cases, BRDs, FSDs, and UAT documentation.

- Analytical mindset focused on delivering top-notch user experiences.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with agile development and sprint-based QA processes.

- Experience with test management tools (e., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).

- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
