Summary of the profile :

We're seeking a proactive and analytical Data Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. You'll collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data to uncover insights that drive strategic decisions.

Ideal candidates are proficient in SQL, Python/R, Excel, and familiar with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.

What you'll do here :

- Extract, clean, and validate data from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, CSVs), ensuring quality and integrity.

- Conduct exploratory and statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies.

- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar tools.

- Define, track, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with business objectives.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams (e.g. finance, marketing, ops) to gather requirements and present data-backed recommendations.

- Automate repetitive data processes using scripting (Python, SQL, or ETL frameworks).

- Support ad-hoc analytics requests and create compelling visualizations and presentations for stakeholders.

What you will need to thrive :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.

- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related field

- Strong SQL skills, ability to write complex queries and manipulate datasets

- Proficiency in Excel (advanced features like pivot tables, macros, formulas)

- Experience with at least one BI/visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc.) .

- Programming skills in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis

- Solid understanding of statistical methods and data modeling

- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate complex analyses into actionable business insights.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with big-data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).

- Experience with ETL tools or frameworks

- Prior domain knowledge in finance, marketing, operations, or your industry of focus.

- Exposure to predictive analytics, A/B testing, or machine learning models.

- Data governance, data warehousing, or data pipeline experience.

- Certifications like CAP, Google Data Analytics, or Microsoft Certified - Data Analyst Associate.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
