The Senior Product Manager is a senior individual contributor role responsible for defining product strategy, shaping product vision, and driving execution for key product areas. This role mentors the Product Owner on the team without direct people management responsibility and has a direct impact on Responsives product direction and business outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities :

Product Strategy & Vision :

- Own and drive the product vision for assigned product areas, ensuring alignment with Responsives overall business strategy, customer outcomes, and long-term growth objectives.

- Apply strong strategic thinking to anticipate market trends, competitive movements, and evolving customer expectations, translating insights into actionable product opportunities.

- Conduct continuous market research, competitive analysis, and industry scanning to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities in the B2B SaaS landscape.

- Define clear product success metrics and KPIs, track performance against goals, and use insights to refine strategy and roadmap priorities.

- Partner with leadership to ensure product initiatives align with company OKRs and revenue, retention, and adoption goals.

Customer & Market Expertise :

- Develop a deep understanding of Responsives customers, including complex B2B workflows, buyer personas, end users, and decision-makers.

- Act as the voice of the customer by continuously gathering insights through customer interviews, usability testing, feedback forums, support data, and usage analytics.

- Identify customer pain points and unmet needs, particularly in complex enterprise and mid-market environments.

- Translate ambiguous, high-level customer problems into clear problem statements and well-defined solution hypotheses.

- Ensure all product decisions are grounded in strong customer empathy and deliver tangible customer value.

Product Discovery & Solution Design :

- Lead product discovery efforts to validate problems and solutions before committing to delivery.

- Collaborate closely with Product Design to shape intuitive, elegant, and easy-to-use user experiences that solve complex problems simply.

- Convert product strategy into detailed product requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Balance usability, scalability, performance, and technical feasibility when defining solutions.

- Partner with Engineering to evaluate technical trade-offs and ensure solutions are aligned with platform architecture and long-term maintainability.

Technical Collaboration :

- Demonstrate strong technical fluency to effectively collaborate with Engineering teams on APIs, integrations, data models, AI/ML capabilities, and system architecture.

- Participate actively in technical discussions to understand constraints, dependencies, and opportunities without acting as a technical owner.

- Work with Engineering to sequence delivery in a way that balances customer impact, technical debt, and platform investments.

- Ensure product requirements are clear, feasible, and well understood by delivery teams.

Execution & Delivery :

- Own and maintain a prioritized product roadmap that balances customer needs, business priorities, and technical considerations.

- Use data, customer insights, and business context to make informed trade-offs and prioritization decisions.

- Mentor and guide the Product Owner on backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery best practices, while remaining an individual contributor with no people management responsibility.

- Ensure alignment across teams throughout the delivery lifecycle, from discovery to launch and post-launch validation.

- Continuously assess progress, risks, and dependencies, adjusting plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes.

Stakeholder Management & Influence :

- Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders, including Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and Leadership, without direct authority.

- Clearly communicate product vision, strategy, priorities, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of goals, timelines, and expectations.

- Act as a trusted product partner to Sales and Customer Success by providing clarity on roadmap direction, positioning, and customer value.

- Manage competing stakeholder inputs while maintaining focus on customer outcomes and strategic priorities.

Go-To-Market & Product Evangelism :

- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to plan and execute successful product launches.

- Contribute to go-to-market strategies, messaging, and positioning to ensure product value is clearly communicated.

- Support enablement efforts through demos, documentation, internal training, and customer-facing materials.

- Act as a product evangelist internally and externally, building awareness, understanding, and enthusiasm for the product.

- Engage directly with customers, prospects, and partners to gather feedback and represent Responsives product vision.

Data-Driven Decision Making & Adaptability :

- Leverage quantitative data (usage metrics, KPIs, funnel analysis) and qualitative insights (customer feedback, research) to inform decisions.

- Regularly review product performance and customer outcomes to validate impact and identify areas for improvement.

- Demonstrate adaptability by adjusting priorities, roadmaps, and approaches based on new data, feedback, or changing business needs.

- Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and remain comfortable wearing multiple hats as needed to drive success.

Education : B.E. / M.Sc / MCA in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management.

- Proven track record managing products through the full lifecycle.

- Experience influencing stakeholders without authority.

- Technical background or exposure to software development preferred.
