Role : Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview :

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and robust applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of our platform, ensuring a seamless experience for our users and driving significant business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and maintainable backend services using Python and Node.js to support critical business functions.

- Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, enhancing the user experience and driving product innovation.

- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability, minimizing defects and improving overall system stability.

- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining service level agreements (SLAs).

- Contribute to the improvement of our development processes and tools, increasing team efficiency and productivity.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated proficiency in Python and Node.js, with a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS, showcasing the ability to build and deploy cloud-based applications.

- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development, enabling seamless integration with other systems and services.

- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, demonstrating the ability to choose the right database for the job.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 3 to 8 years of relevant experience.

- Ability to work on-site in Bangalore.
