Job Description

Role Overview :


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer ADAS to design, develop, and validate advanced driver assistance features for next-generation vehicles. The role involves working across perception, sensor fusion, planning, and control, contributing to safety-critical automotive systems from concept to production.

You will collaborate closely with system architects, hardware engineers, and validation teams to deliver robust, scalable, and compliant ADAS solutions aligned with industry safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities / KRAs :

ADAS Feature Development :

1. Design and develop ADAS functionalities including :

- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

- Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)

- Automatic / Emergency Braking (AEB)

- Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)

2. Translate system-level requirements into software architecture and algorithmic implementations.

Perception & Sensor Processing :

1. Develop and optimize perception algorithms using data from :

- Cameras

- Radar

- LiDAR

- Ultrasonic sensors

2. Implement object detection, classification, and tracking algorithms for real-time environments.

Sensor Fusion & Decision Making :


- Design and implement sensor fusion techniques to improve accuracy and robustness.

- Contribute to path planning, decision-making, and vehicle control algorithms for ADAS use cases.

- Ensure reliable behavior in dynamic and complex traffic scenarios.

Modeling, Simulation & Validation :


- Perform system modeling and simulation using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and C++.

- Analyze simulation and real-world data to evaluate system performance.

- Tune and optimize algorithms based on test and validation feedback.

Embedded Integration & Testing :

- Integrate ADAS software into ECU platforms.

- Conduct SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing.

- Support vehicle-level integration and on-road testing activities.

Safety, Quality & Compliance:

1. Ensure compliance with automotive standards including :

- ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)

- ASPICE

- AUTOSAR

2. Participate in safety analysis, code reviews, and quality audits.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :


1. Work closely with :

- System architects

- Hardware and ECU engineers

- Validation and testing teams

2. Ensure seamless integration between sensors, software, and vehicle platforms.

Documentation & Reporting :

1. Maintain comprehensive documentation for :

- System designs

- Algorithms

- Test cases

- Validation and verification results

2. Support internal and external audits with clear technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Must-Have :

- Strong experience in ADAS or autonomous vehicle systems.

- Proficiency in C++, Python, and/or MATLAB/Simulink.

- Solid understanding of perception, sensor fusion, and control algorithms.

- Experience with camera, radar, LiDAR, and ultrasonic sensors.

- Hands-on experience with ECU integration and SIL/HIL testing.

- Knowledge of automotive safety and quality standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR).

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
