Reliance Infrastructure - ClickHouse Platform Architect

Role Overview :

Youll define best-in-class ClickHouse architectures for real-time analytics pipelines, guide cost-and-performance optimization, and train client teams on engineering standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect end-to-end ClickHouse solutions : ingestion, storage, query tiers, and replication

- Evaluate use cases and recommend table engines, partitioning schemes, and indexing strategies

- Design security frameworks, including network isolation, encryption, and RBAC

- Develop optimization strategies for cost control, resource utilization, and query latency

- Lead workshops and training sessions for internal and client teams

- Collaborate with data engineers, DevOps, and security stakeholders.

- Good to have ClickHouse Certified Developer certification.

Required Qualifications :

- 8+ years in data/platform architecture or engineering, with 3+ years deep ClickHouse expertise

- Mastery of MergeTree engines, materialized views, Kafka engine, and real-time ingest patterns

- Proven track record designing large-scale, multi-region clusters

- Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills

- Strong business acumen to balance performance, cost, and risk

Nice-to-Have :

- Contributions to open-source or technical publications on ClickHouse

- Public speaking experience at conferences or meetups

- Cloud platform expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure)
