Job Description

Were a growing team, and as we scale, so does our need to focus on expanding our engineering team. Youll be joining a people-focused company, and as a Release Manager, you will oversee planning, scheduling, communication, and coordination of our industry-leading SaaS platforms and applications. You will be pivotal in ensuring the timely delivery of software to our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage expectations, measure results, and improve processes.


THE OPPORTUNITY :


- Plan and coordinate releases to established timelines across multiple product teams

- Organize and facilitate structured communications throughout the release lifecycle

- Continuously improve release processes based on lessons learned and best practices

- Ensure the definition of done is clearly published and tracked

- Drive communication and treatment of risks

- Identify and drive resolution of dependencies across separate products

- Other duties as assigned.


THE SKILL SET :


- Prefer a Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, business, Management Information Systems or related field

- 2+ years of experience in software release program management, and 5+ years of total experience in software development preferably SaaS.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to build trusted partnerships with executives and product teams

- Strong working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and software quality attributes

- Experience with Agile methodologies

- Knowledge of Project Management Software Tools such as Jira

- Travel requirement is up to 10%

- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

- Desirable certifications include those from PMI, Scaled Agile, Scrum Alliance.

- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their deployment models
