Job Overview :

We are looking for a Release Manager with strong expertise in managing software releases across SAP landscapes and other technology stacks.


The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating releases, deploying applications, and managing environments while ensuring high quality, minimal downtime, and adherence to governance and compliance standards.


This role involves close collaboration with development, QA, operations, and business teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of releases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Plan, coordinate, and manage software releases across SAP and other technology environments.

- Develop and maintain release calendars, schedules, and dependencies to ensure smooth deployments.

- Collaborate with development, QA, business, and infrastructure teams to validate release readiness.

- Coordinate and monitor build, deployment, and rollback procedures across multiple environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD).

- Ensure compliance with change management, risk management, and audit requirements.

- Track, report, and escalate release risks, issues, and dependencies to senior management.

- Implement and maintain automation frameworks for continuous integration, deployment (CI/CD), and release management.

- Conduct post-release reviews to capture lessons learned and drive process improvements.

- Provide guidance on SAP transports, patches, and upgrades, and manage dependencies with other enterprise applications.

- Monitor release metrics, performance, and compliance with SLAs.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7 to 12 years of experience in release, deployment, or configuration management (Average ~9 years).

- Hands-on experience with SAP modules and transports, including ECC and S/4HANA environments.

- Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).

- Solid understanding of version control, branching strategies, and code promotion processes.

- Strong project management, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

- Familiarity with ITIL practices, change management, and release governance.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams in multi-geography environments.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
