Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Solution Architect to lead end-to-end Anaplan implementations, from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and governance.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Anaplan model building, functional design, and enterprise planning, along with strong client engagement and leadership skills.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the architectural design and blueprinting of Anaplan solutions to meet complex business
requirements, with a strong focus on Finance planning processes (Consolidation, Reporting, etc.

- Define and document the overall Anaplan solution architecture, including model design, data flows,
integrations, and user interface strategies (including the new UX).

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Anaplan development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.

- Evaluate and recommend Anaplan features and functionalities to optimize solutions and address business challenges.

- Design and implement robust Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) strategies within Anaplan to ensure controlled and efficient deployments and changes.

- Utilize your deep expertise as an Anaplan Model Builder Level 3 to design and build complex Anaplan
models from the ground up, adhering to Anaplan best practices.

- Develop and optimize calculations, rules, and workflows within Anaplan models to support intricate financial planning scenarios.

- Implement effective data integration strategies to bring data into and out of Anaplan from various source systems.

- Design and implement sophisticated reporting solutions within Anaplan, including leveraging the new UX for enhanced visualizations and user experience.

- Leverage your deep understanding of financial planning business capabilities and processes (e.
g., budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation, management reporting) to translate business needs into effective Anaplan solutions.

- Collaborate closely with Finance stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their pain points, and propose innovative Anaplan-based solutions.

- Provide guidance on how Anaplan can best support and optimize their financial planning processes.

- Possess a good understanding of data integration principles and experience integrating Anaplan with other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, ERP systems, data warehouses).

- Design and oversee the development of integrations using Anaplan Connect or other integration tools/methods.

- Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues.

- Own and drive the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) process for Anaplan, ensuring proper governance, version control, and controlled deployments across different environments.

- Establish and enforce ALM best practices within the Anaplan team.

- Apply in-depth expertise in complex data analysis to understand data structures, identify data quality
issues, and design effective data models within Anaplan.

- Troubleshoot data-related issues and ensure data accuracy and integrity within the Anaplan platform.

- Potentially lead and mentor a team of Anaplan model builders and developers.

- Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the Anaplan team.

- Communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Minimum 5+ years of overall experience in enterprise planning and performance management solutions.

- Mandatory : Anaplan Model Builder Level 3 certification with demonstrable experience of building complex models in Anaplan for at least 3 years.

- Mandatory: Deep understanding of the financial planning business capabilities and processes (Consolidation, Reporting, etc.) and their implementation within a major organization.

- Mandatory: In-depth expertise in complex data analysis and data modeling principles.

- Strong hands-on experience in designing and implementing Anaplan models for various financial planning processes.

- Proven ability to design and implement effective reporting solutions within Anaplan, including experience with the new UX.

- Solid understanding and practical experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) within the Anaplan platform.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
