Description :

We are looking for 3+ years of skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to ensure the quality and reliability of our SAP B2B to Optimizely Commerce Cloud migration.

This role blends strong programming and QA expertise to design, develop, and execute both automated and manual tests.

The SDET will validate functional workflows, API integrations, and data accuracy, while building automation frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with developers and business teams to deliver a robust and scalable solution.

Primary Skills :

Technical Testing :

- .NET Core / C#: Strong programming skills for writing automated tests and test utilities.

- API Testing: Experience with tools like Postman, RestSharp, or Swagger for testing ECC-Optimizely integrations.

- Unit Testing Frameworks: Proficiency in xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.

- Test Automation: Building and maintaining automation suites using Selenium WebDriver or Playwright (for UI testing).

- SQL & Data Validation: Writing queries to validate migrated data between ECC and Optimizely.

- CI/CD Integration: Setting up test pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

Functional & Integration Testing :

- End-to-End Test Scenarios: Covering product catalog, pricing, inventory, and order workflows.

- Regression Testing: Ensuring stability after each migration phase.

- Error Handling & Logging: Implementing robust logging and exception tracking.

Quality Practices :

- Test Strategy & Planning: Creating test plans aligned with migration phases.

- Defect Management: Using tools like JIRA, Azure Boards, or TestRail.

- Version Control: Git for managing test code and collaboration.

Responsibilities include :

- Develop and maintain automated test suites using .NET Core/C#, Selenium, or Playwright.

- Perform API testing for ECC-Optimizely integrations using Postman or RestSharp.

- Validate migrated data using SQL queries and backend checks.

- Implement unit and integration tests with xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.

- Set up and manage test pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

- Conduct functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for ecommerce workflows.

- Perform performance testing using JMeter, k6, or similar tools.

- Ensure secure API practices and basic security testing (OWASP awareness).

- Collaborate in Agile teams, participate in sprint planning, and report defects in JIRA or Azure Boards.

- Generate test reports using ExtentReports, Allure, or custom dashboards.
