Job Description :

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation & Manual Test Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing. The candidate will be responsible for defining QA strategies, building automation frameworks, mentoring junior testers, and ensuring high-quality product releases in an Agile environment.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Analyze business and technical requirements to define test strategy.

- Create and review test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

- Perform manual testing including Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, and UAT testing.

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze results.

- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA.

- Work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (Sprint planning, Daily stand-ups, Reviews).

- Guide and mentor junior QA engineers.

- Ensure QA best practices and process improvements.

- Support CI/CD integration for automation execution.

Key Skills :

Manual Testing :

- Strong knowledge of STLC and SDLC

- Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration & UAT Testing

- Test case design and execution

- Defect tracking and reporting.

Automation Testing :

- Hands-on experience with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Appium

- Programming knowledge in Java / Python / JavaScript

- Automation frameworks: TestNG / JUnit / PyTest / Cucumber

- API Testing: Postman / Rest Assured

- CI/CD tools: Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI

Tools & Technologies :

- JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr

- Git / Bitbucket

- SQL & Database Testing

- Web and/or Mobile Application Testing

Desired / Good to Have Skills :

- Performance testing using JMeter

- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Knowledge of Microservices architecture

- ISTQB Certification (Preferred)
