We are seeking an experienced Customer Projects Program Manager to oversee the successful delivery of customer implementation projects. This role will be instrumental in managing our project portfolio, driving operational excellence, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences throughout the implementation lifecycle. You'll leverage modern project management tools like Rocket lane to standardize processes, improve visibility, and scale our delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Program & Portfolio Management :


- Oversee multiple concurrent customer implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and handoff

- Define and maintain standardized project methodologies, templates, and best practices within Rocketlane

- Monitor program health metrics, identify risks early, and implement mitigation strategies

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce time-to-value and increase project success rates

- Coordinate cross-functional resources across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams

Rocketlane Platform Ownership :


- Configure and optimize Rocket lane workspaces, workflows, and automations to support

efficient project delivery

- Build reusable project templates and playbooks for different customer segments and use

cases

- Establish reporting dashboards and KPIs to provide real-time visibility into project status and

team capacity

- Train team members on Rocketlane best practices and ensure consistent adoption across the

organization

- Partner with leadership to leverage Rocketlane analytics for forecasting and resource planning

Customer Engagement & Delivery :


- Serve as an escalation point for complex or at-risk implementations

- Conduct regular business reviews with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and resource optimization

- Drive adoption of customer-facing collaboration features within Rocketlane to enhance transparency

- Gather customer feedback to inform product roadmap and delivery process improvements

- Ensure seamless handoffs between Sales, Implementation, and Customer Success teams

Operational Excellence :

- Establish governance frameworks for project prioritization, resource allocation, and change management

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles

- Analyze project data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation

- Support capacity planning and hiring initiatives based on project pipeline and team utilization metrics

- Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering to streamline technical deployment processes

Required Qualifications :

Experience & Skills :


- 5-7 years of program or project management experience, preferably in SaaS or enterprise

software implementations

- Demonstrated expertise with modern PM tools, particularly Rocketlane (or similar platforms

like Asana, Monday.com, or Smartsheet)

- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder B2B projects with technical

components

- Strong understanding of software implementation methodologies, including waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches

- Experience managing project portfolios with 10+ concurrent initiatives

Technical Aptitude :

- Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding system architectures, APIs, and integrations

- Ability to quickly learn new software platforms and become a subject matter expert

- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to derive insights from project metrics

- Familiarity with modern collaboration tools including Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace

Soft Skills :

- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail

- Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion

- Customer-centric mindset with passion for delivering outstanding experiences

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment

Preferred Qualifications :


- PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification

- Experience in revenue management, billing, or financial software implementations

- Background in consulting or professional services organizations


- Previous experience building and scaling implementation teams

- Familiarity with revenue recognition, subscription billing, or usage-based pricing models
