- Good knowledge on various tunnelling technologies e.g., VPN, GRE.

- Upgrade, install and troubleshoot networks, networking hardware devices and software.

- Good experience in setting up and managing LAN and WAN environment.

- Knowledge of routing protocols like RIP, OSPF, VRRP, EIGRP and BGP.

- Maintain inventory of equipment and parts as well as documentation of vendor activities.

- Develop and document system standards for network devices.

- Willingness to work night shifts and provide backup support.

Required Skills :

- Cloud security, firewall management, and networking infrastructure.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Fortigate, Palo Alto Networks, SonicWall, and Juniper SRX firewalls and security appliances.

- Expertise in Zscaler, OpenStack, and Neutron cloud technologies, and integration with on-premises infrastructure.

- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols such as IPsec VPN, GRE, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and VRRP.

- Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Zabbix, or equivalent platforms.

- Deep understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, including Spanning Tree, VLANs, VTP, and Ethernet LAN Switching.

- Expertise in network services such as DNS, DHCP, IIS, FTP, and their configuration and management.

- Proven experience in managing Windows Servers and Linux routing configurations.

- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex issues related to firewalls, routers, and network configurations.

- Configure and optimize site-to-site VPNs, remote access VPNs, and IPsec VPNs for secure communications.

- Perform firewall upgrades, patch management, and troubleshooting for performance and security enhancements.

- Provide 24/7 support for critical incidents and escalations, ensuring minimal network downtime and business continuity.

- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on advanced networking concepts, security practices, and troubleshooting.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Security, Infrastructure, DevOps) to implement and maintain security controls across networks and cloud environments.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in relevant field.

- 4+ years of experience in network engineering.

- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), CCDP (Cisco Certified Design Professional), or CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert).

- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).

- FortiGate and SonicWall certifications.

- Zscaler Certified Professional (ZCP) or other relevant cloud security certifications.

- JNCIP or equivalent Juniper certifications.

- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or other industry-recognized security certifications
