Key Responsibilities :

- Independently design, build, and manage customer data platforms using Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and SQL.

- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather business requirements and translate them into reliable data solutions.

- Develop and maintain ELT pipelines with Fivetran and dbt to automate data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.

- Optimize SQL code and data models for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency in Snowflake.

- Ensure data platform reliability, monitoring, and data quality maintenance.

- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

- Maintain clear and thorough documentation of engineering processes and architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven hands-on experience (36 years) with :

- Snowflake cloud data platform (data modeling, security, performance tuning)

- dbt (data build tool) for ELT workflows

- Fivetran (connector management, troubleshooting)

- Advanced SQL programming and optimization

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT best practices, and modern data stack architectures.

- Experience working independently and owning project deliverables end-to-end.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and workflow automation tools.

- Solid communication and documentation skills.

- Ability to interact directly with clients and understand business requirements.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data pipelines

- Experience with BI/analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
