Position Title : JavaScript Frontend Software Engineer

Experience Required : 3 to 5 Years

Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and proactive JavaScript Frontend Software Engineer with 35 years of hands-on experience in developing modern, responsive, and high-performance web applications.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in JavaScript frameworks, frontend architecture, reusable component development, API integration, and engineering best practices.

The engineer will work within an Agile product engineering environment and should be capable of independently handling assigned tasks, delivering high-quality code, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Frontend Development :

- Develop scalable and responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js, or Angular.

- Build reusable, modular, and maintainable UI components.

- Implement responsive layouts and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

- Convert Figma or UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect frontend implementations.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Component-Based Architecture :

- Design and develop component-driven frontend solutions.

- Work with:

1. Props, events, and lifecycle hooks

2. State management libraries such as Pinia, Redux, or NgRx

3. Client-side routing and navigation

- Ensure clean separation of concerns and maintainable project structure.

API Integration :

- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs.

- Handle asynchronous operations using Axios or Fetch.

- Implement proper error handling, retry logic, and loading states.

- Ensure secure and reliable communication with backend services.

Engineering Best Practices :

- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code following coding standards.

- Participate in code reviews as both reviewer and contributor.

- Develop unit tests using Jest for major components and features.

- Follow Git-based development workflows and branching strategies.

- Apply secure coding practices to prevent XSS and CSRF vulnerabilities.

- Ensure accessibility compliance following WCAG basics.

Performance & Reliability :

- Optimize rendering performance and state management.

- Implement lazy loading and code splitting strategies.

- Use browser developer tools for performance analysis and debugging.

- Work with error boundaries and frontend reliability practices.

- Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like Sentry or LogRocket is an added advantage.

Agile Collaboration :

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including :

1. Sprint Planning

2. Grooming Sessions

3. Daily Stand-ups

4. Sprint Reviews

5. Retrospectives

- Communicate technical decisions clearly with team members and stakeholders.

- Provide accurate effort estimates and status updates.

- Work independently with minimal supervision once requirements are defined.

Required Technical Skills :

Mandatory Skills :

- 3 to 5 years of frontend development experience

- Strong proficiency in :

1. JavaScript (ES6+)

2. HTML5

3. CSS3

4. Responsive Web Design

- Experience with at least one frontend framework :

1. Vue.js

2. React.js

3. Angular

Additional Required Knowledge :

- State management tools (Redux, Pinia, NgRx, etc.)

- REST API integration

- Axios / Fetch

- Vite or Webpack

- NPM or Yarn

- Jest for unit testing

- Git version control

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory, or Warehouse Management systems

- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Sentry or LogRocket

- Knowledge of frontend security best practices

- AWS Cloud exposure

Expected Deliverables :

- The engineer should be able to independently deliver :

1. Frontend pages and reusable UI components

2. Clean and maintainable production-ready code

3. Unit tests for critical components

4. Bug fixes, enhancements, and production support

5. Timely sprint deliverables and accurate reporting

6. Documentation for components and integrations

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- 3 to 5 years of professional frontend development experience
