Description : Senior Quality Analyst (7+ Years)

Location : Chennai (Onsite)

Role Overview :

As a Senior Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products by defining QA strategies, leading testing efforts, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end testing activities including test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.

- Define and implement QA best practices, standards, and processes.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.

- Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to ensure quality deliverables.

- Mentor and guide junior QA team members.

- Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to identify potential quality risks.

- Ensure timely reporting of test metrics, defects, and quality status.

- Support automation testing initiatives and CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

- Ensure compliance with SLAs and quality benchmarks.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.

- Strong hands-on experience in manual testing.

- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)

- Knowledge of API testing, database testing, and basic SQL.

- Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.) is a strong plus.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and lead QA initiatives.

Good to Have :

- Experience in automation framework design.

- Knowledge of performance or security testing.

- Experience working with cloud-based applications.

- QA certifications (ISTQB or equivalent).
