Role Overview :

RapidData Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to building, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing software systems.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across the software lifecycle while driving automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy, and release software applications.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable faster, reliable, and repeatable deployments.

- Conduct quality assurance and validation to ensure software meets defined standards and performance benchmarks.

- Roll out software upgrades, patches, and fixes with minimal disruption to business operations.

- Ensure application and infrastructure security, proactively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.

- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability; troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

- Collect, analyze, and act on customer and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve system usability and performance.

- Recommend workflow, tooling, and process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and delivery success.

- Proactively propose new project ideas and technical enhancements based on market gaps and emerging technologies.

- Maintain documentation for deployment processes, infrastructure architecture, and operational best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, SDLC, and automation-first practices

- Experience with CI/CD tools, version control systems, and build automation

- Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization, and infrastructure management

- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and performance optimization

- Strong understanding of security best practices in application and infrastructure environments

- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Nice to Have :

- Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)

- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

- Awareness of emerging DevOps and cloud-native technologies
