About The Role :

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with over 6 years of experience in automation testing, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality, automation, and continuous improvement, and will play a key role in building robust test automation frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Cypress (mandatory), and optionally Selenium or Playwright.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure high-quality releases.

- Work primarily with JavaScript/TypeScript (mandatory), and optionally Python or Java.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, or GitHub Actions.

- Utilize AWS and Azure cloud platforms for test environments and deployment automation.

- Apply basic networking concepts to support testing of distributed systems and APIs.

- Troubleshoot test failures and maintain test stability across environments.

Required Qualifications.

- 5+ years of experience in automation testing.

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Strong understanding of automation frameworks and testing best practices.

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, BitBucket, GitHub).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

- Understanding of basic networking concepts.

- Should have experience in API Testing.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications.

- Experience with Selenium or Playwright.

- Exposure to Python or Java for automation.

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools.

- Experience with performance, security, or API testing tools.
