R Systems International - AI Engineer/Data Scientist

We are looking for a product-focused AI Engineer / Data Scientist to build and maintain reliable data foundations and transform data into customer-facing AI features.

This role requires hands-on experience in production-grade machine learning, anomaly detection, and explainable AI within regulated environments.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and PMM teams to develop intelligent systems that drive performance insights, detect anomalies, and support fraud signal generation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and deploy scalable ML models in production environments

- Develop models for :

a. Anomaly detection

b. Time-series analysis

c. Performance insights

d. Fraud signal detection (assistive models)

- Integrate ML models into product workflows and backend systems

- Monitor model performance, accuracy, and drift

- Implement explainable AI techniques to ensure model transparency

- Support product analytics and dashboard insights

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into ML solutions

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Python and ML algorithms

- Experience deploying ML models in production environments

- Expertise in Anomaly Detection and/or Time-Series Analysis

- Experience in model monitoring and drift detection

- Solid understanding of supervised & unsupervised learning techniques

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is preferred

- Knowledge of data pipelines and ETL processes

Explainability & Governance :

- Experience with Explainable AI (XAI) tools such as SHAP, LIME, or similar

- Experience working in regulated industries (Fintech, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare preferred)

- Understanding of model interpretability and compliance standards

What We Are Looking For :

- 4 to 8 years of experience in Data Science / ML Engineering

- Demonstrated experience solving real business problems using ML

- Proven experience deploying ML models into production (not research-only)

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability

- Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have :

- Experience in fraud detection systems

- Experience in customer-facing AI features

- Experience working in SaaS or product-based companies
