We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in Manual and Automation Testing, particularly using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and API/Database testing.

This role is ideal for someone who loves ensuring product quality, building reliable test automation, and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies.

- Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Ad-hoc testing for web applications.

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using:

• Java
• Selenium WebDriver
• TestNG
• Page Object Model (POM)

- Conduct API testing using REST APIs, Postman, or REST-assured.

- Validate backend logic and ensure data accuracy through Database Testing using complex SQL queries.

- Perform root cause analysis on defects and propose corrective actions.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.

- Clearly document and communicate test results, defects, and risks to stakeholders.

- Contribute to ongoing improvements in QA processes, practices, and tools.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4 - 6 years of hands-on QA experience in IT.

- Minimum 3 years of automation testing using Java + Selenium WebDriver + TestNG + POM.

- 2+ years of API testing (Postman / REST-assured).

- 2+ years of Database Testing with SQL (Oracle or MS SQL Server).

- Knowledge of Performance Testing tools like JMeter is an advantage.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
