Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Developer to support integration development and migration initiatives. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in IBM ACE V13, cloud deployments using Red Hat OpenShift, and message-based integrations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, enterprise integration environment while adhering to standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).

- Perform IBM ACE Migration to V13, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance with enterprise standards.

- Develop and support ACE V13 applications (minimum experience with V12).

- Deploy ACE solutions in cloud environments using Red Hat OpenShift.

- Create, configure, and deploy BAR (Broker Archive) files across environments.

- Work with IBM MQ (cloud-based preferred; on-prem acceptable) for message queuing and integration flows.

- Configure and manage environment-specific settings, including policies vs properties.

- Monitor and manage integrations using the CP4I Dashboard.

- Implement file processing solutions on Red Hat OpenShift.

- Use IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) with the ACE plugin (non-Sterling).

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.

- Document integration designs, configurations, and operational processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams while working effectively during UK business hours.

Critical / Must-Have Skills :

- IBM ACE Migration to V13 mandatory, hands-on experience.

- Strong development experience with IBM ACE V13 (minimum V12).

- Hands-on experience deploying ACE V13 on Red Hat OpenShift (or at least V12).

- Experience with IBM MQ (cloud preferred; on-prem acceptable).

- Strong understanding of policies vs properties in ACE.

- Experience managing environment configurations across multiple stages.

- Hands-on experience with CP4I Dashboard.

- Expertise in creating and deploying BAR files.

- Experience with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) using the ACE plugin.

- File processing experience in Red Hat OpenShift environments.

Useful / Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with AWS cloud services.

- Monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially using :

1. GitHub

2. Azure DevOps

3. Git-based workflows

- Strong experience in process documentation and technical writing.
