Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong Python and SQL expertise to design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and analytical datasets.

The role requires hands-on experience with databases (preferably Snowflake), understanding of Microsoft data flows, and the ability to support downstream analytics and Power BI reporting while collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using Python and SQL

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and performance tuning

- Work with at least one database technology, preferably Snowflake, for data storage and processing

- Understand and work with Microsoft data flows to support data ingestion and transformation processes

- Perform debugging and back-tracing to identify and resolve data quality, pipeline, or performance issues

- Support Power BI reporting by preparing clean, well-structured datasets

- Collaborate with analytics, BI, and business teams to ensure data readiness and consistency

- Document data flows and maintain basic data flow diagrams for clarity and governance

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles

- Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation

- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, and query optimization

- Experience working with at least one database, preferably Snowflake

- Good understanding of Microsoft data flows

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

- Intermediate-level knowledge of Power BI

- Basic understanding of data flow diagrams and data pipeline concepts

Good to Have Skills :

- Power BI data modeling skills

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake

- Experience integrating data pipelines with Azure cloud resources

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
