- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes, data warehouses, and data marts, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

- This includes validating source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, and data loading.

- Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data at various stages of the ETL pipeline, identify discrepancies, and verify data quality rules.

- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and comparison is essential.

- Collaborate closely with ETL developers, data architects, and business analysts to understand data requirements, source systems, and target data models.

- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability.

- Perform thorough testing of Reports and Dashboards generated from the data warehouse to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to business requirements.

- This includes validating calculations, aggregations, and drill-down functionalities.

- Identify, document, and track defects and issues related to ETL processes, data quality, and data inconsistencies using defect tracking tools.

- Work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Contribute to the improvement of ETL testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data testing.

- Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python, for test automation, data manipulation, or data validation is an added advantage.

- Good hands-on experience with data services on at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

Skills Required :

- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.

- Excellent Knowledge on data transformations and data quality.

- Strong in SQL.
