Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Quant Technology Lead / Low Latency Java Engineer to design and develop high-performance, mission-critical trading platforms for capital markets.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building ultra-low latency, high-throughput applications using Core Java and distributed technologies.

You will work closely with Quantitative Researchers, Traders, Product Managers, and Infrastructure teams to develop robust electronic trading systems that process market data with minimal latency while ensuring scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.

This role demands deep expertise in concurrent programming, JVM optimization, distributed computing, networking, and performance engineering within a fast-paced financial trading environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain ultra-low latency trading applications using Core Java.

- Build high-performance order management, execution management, and market data processing systems.

- Collaborate with Quantitative Analysts and Traders to translate complex trading strategies into production-grade software.

- Design scalable distributed architectures capable of processing millions of market events with minimal latency.

- Optimize order execution paths to reduce latency and improve throughput.

- Develop and enhance market data handlers supporting multiple exchanges and trading venues.

- Implement robust connectivity using FIX Protocol and exchange-specific APIs.

- Perform extensive JVM tuning, garbage collection optimization, thread management, and memory optimization.

- Analyze system bottlenecks using profiling and benchmarking tools.

- Design fault-tolerant messaging infrastructure using Kafka or similar event streaming platforms.

- Build resilient microservices and distributed systems supporting high availability.

- Optimize Linux-based production environments for maximum application performance.

- Conduct code reviews and establish engineering best practices.

- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across development teams.

- Work closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams during production deployments.

- Participate in production support for critical trading systems when required.

- Ensure adherence to software engineering standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
