QualityKiosk Technologies - Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect / Automation Architect to lead and define the vision for a robust DevOps ecosystem that supports continuous integration, continuous testing, continuous deployment, and continuous monitoring. This role will spearhead the development and delivery of a comprehensive Test/QA Automation roadmap, driving the transformation of our clients quality assurance and testing functions.

The ideal candidate will be a technical visionary and trusted advisor with a deep understanding of enterprise IT architecture, especially in the Retail-Ecommerce domain. You will mentor and lead a team of Automation Engineers, providing technical and solutioning leadership while ensuring alignment with broader business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and drive the strategic vision for automation architecture aligned with DevOps principles : CI/CD, continuous testing, and continuous monitoring.

- Establish and evangelize automation best practices and standards across the organization.

- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, maintainable, and efficient automation frameworks supporting Web, Mobile, API, and ERP testing.

- Act as a trusted advisor and technical leader on automation strategy and enterprise architecture within the retail and ecommerce domain.

- Develop deep domain expertise in Retail-Ecommerce order-to-cash and procure-to-pay workflows, ERP-SAP touchpoints, inventory sync, POS integration, and supply chain modules.

- Design solutions for validating data and workflows between front-end retail systems and ERP backend systems.

- Lead complex test scenario design across UI, API, and ERP layers, ensuring end-to-end coverage and integration.

- Drive testing automation efforts for order management, order processing, procurement, inventory, logistics, and other retail processes.

- Create and own the Test/QA automation roadmap, including tooling decisions and framework architecture (hybrid, API-driven, data-driven).

- Lead automation framework development and enhancements using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Katalon, REST Assured, and others.

- Oversee test data management strategies and automation integration with CI/CD pipelines.

- Implement automation KPIs focused on cost reduction, release velocity, defect leakage minimization, and quality improvement.

- Explore and pilot AI/ML, hyper-automation, and other modern automation strategies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

- Drive Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for emerging technologies relevant to QA automation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Business Analysts) to align automation initiatives with business objectives.

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Automation Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

- Provide technical guidance and review automation solutions to ensure quality and performance.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and technical workshops within the team and across the organization.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and solution architecture.

- Proven expertise in retail or ecommerce domains, particularly order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory management, and ERP-SAP integrations.

- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks : Selenium, Cypress, Katalon, REST Assured, or equivalent.

- Solid experience with API automation, mobile automation, and frontend-backend validation strategies.

- Deep understanding of ERP automation, data synchronization, and complex workflow validations.

- Expertise in automation framework design (hybrid, API-driven, data-driven).

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar.

- Familiarity with test data management and environment provisioning.

- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.

- Exposure to AI/ML technologies, hyper-automation, and automation metrics/KPIs.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
