About the Role :

We are looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance Analyst with a strong understanding of CASA (Current Account Savings Account), Term Deposits (TD), and API Testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Postman for API validation and a solid grasp of banking processes including account opening, modification, and closure. This role demands close collaboration with both onsite and offshore teams to ensure high-quality delivery of financial software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Demonstrate a solid understanding of CASA and Term Deposit products, including workflows for account opening, modification, and closure.

- Validate account operations through multiple banking channels, ensuring compliance with business rules and regulatory standards.

- Design, execute, and validate API test cases using Postman or similar tools.

- Verify API response codes, data formats, and business logic adherence.

- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot API defects and performance issues.

- Analyze requirements and business workflows to create comprehensive test cases and scenarios.

- Execute manual and automated test cases adhering to the test plan.

- Perform regression testing and retesting of defects after fixes.

- Log detailed and reproducible defects in defect tracking tools.

- Track and manage defect lifecycle until resolution.

- Participate in defect triage and status meetings.

- Provide daily test status updates and progress reports to onsite and offshore test managers.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product owners.

- Support test closure activities, including documentation of lessons learned and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience with CASA (Current Account, Savings Account) and Term Deposits (TD) banking products.

- Strong experience in API Testing using Postman or similar tools.

- Thorough understanding of bank account lifecycle processes : opening, modification, and closure.

- Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, QC).

- Ability to design detailed test cases, scenarios, and execute test plans.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
