We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester with 2 to 5 years of experience, specifically with expertise in the health insurance domain and hands-on experience in TCS Bancs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for functional testing, test case design, execution, and reporting, while also mentoring junior testers and collaborating closely with business and development teams.

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days

Mandatory Skills : Manual Testing, Functional Testing, Health Insurance domain knowledge, TCS Bancs (minimum 1 year experience)

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop a strong understanding of health insurance processes, products, and workflows to ensure accurate and effective testing.

- Apply your minimum 1 year of experience with TCS Bancs to test and validate insurance solutions built on the platform.

- Analyze requirement documents, user stories, and design specifications to create comprehensive and effective test cases.

- Design, document, and execute manual test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Ensure all scenarios are thoroughly tested.

- Log, track, and manage defects using defect tracking tools. Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.

- Maintain detailed and up-to-date test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.

- Guide and mentor junior testers, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve the overall testing capabilities of the team.

- Prepare and submit daily and weekly status reports to keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and issues.

- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and QA leads to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and deliver quality releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience in Manual Testing and Functional Testing in the health insurance domain.

- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in TCS Bancs platform testing.

- Strong knowledge of test case design techniques and defect lifecycle management.

- Ability to understand and analyze business and technical requirements.

- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members.

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks.

- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Center).

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
