About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Associate Test Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation and performance testing, with hands-on knowledge of leading tools and technologies. You will lead a team focused on delivering high-quality software products by driving automation efforts and ensuring system performance meets business requirements.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a team of automation and performance testers to deliver high-quality testing outputs within project timelines.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar performance testing tools.

- Implement and oversee performance testing strategies to ensure system scalability, reliability, and robustness under load.

- Utilize Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as Dynatrace or AppDynamics for troubleshooting and performance tuning.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.

- Design and develop robust test automation frameworks leveraging best practices, design patterns, and efficient test execution strategies.

- Manage cross-browser automation testing and implement parallel test execution across multiple browsers and devices to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Develop and execute complex SQL queries to validate backend data and verify system integrity.

- Validate and test web services including REST, SOAP APIs using JSON and XML data formats over HTTP protocols.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards and automation best practices.

- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Qualifications :

- Proven experience 3+ in automation and performance testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent.

- Hands-on experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools like Dynatrace or AppDynamics for troubleshooting and analysis.

- Prior experience in leading or handling a team focused on performance or automation testing.

- Strong programming skills in Core Java, .NET, and JavaScript.

- Proficient in writing and executing complex SQL queries for database validation.

- Good understanding and practical experience with web services including RESTful and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols.

- Expertise in designing and developing test automation frameworks using design patterns and industry best practices.

- Experience with cross-browser automation testing and implementing parallel execution on multiple browsers and devices.

- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies is a plus.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
