Role : Quality Assurance Engineer - Systematic Trading Technology

Our client, a leading proprietary trading firm in India, is expanding in Singapore to build high-performance, technology-driven trading systems across equities, options, and futures markets. They are seeking an exceptional Software Engineer QA to help ensure the reliability, scalability, and quality of mission-critical trading infrastructure operating in fast-paced, data-intensive environments.

This role combines strong automation expertise with cloud and backend testing capabilities, requiring a proactive mindset, technical depth, and a high standard for engineering quality.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for trading applications

- Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Python

- Develop and execute Bash scripts for automation, environment setup, and testing workflows

- Validate application functionality and integrations within AWS cloud environments

- Perform API, backend, and data validation testing across distributed systems

- Identify, track, and resolve defects throughout the software lifecycle

- Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to maintain quality across CI/CD pipelines

- Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and requirement analysis

- Execute regression, smoke, sanity, and system testing across releases

- Maintain QA standards, documentation, and testing best practices

Key Criteria :

- 3-6 years of experience in Software QA / QA Engineering roles within tier-1 firms

- Strong hands-on experience with Python for test automation

- Experience with Bash/Shell scripting and automation workflows

- Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile development methodologies

- Experience with API testing tools/frameworks such as Postman or automated API testing suites

- Familiarity with automation frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, or Unittest

- Experience with JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar QA management tools

- Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative, and technically demanding environments
