Director / Head of Quality Engineering - Enterprise Storage

Location : Bangalore, India

Experience: 15+ years (with leadership and second-level management)

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive Quality Engineering initiatives across storage, flash, and networking products, ensuring enterprise readiness, resiliency, and reliability.

- Lead and mentor engineering teams, promoting adaptability, accountability, and high execution discipline.

- Architect automated test strategies and frameworks, integrating test-driven development and CI/CD for accelerated release cycles in storage, flash, and networking domains.

- Manage projects through the full SDLC, ensuring on-time delivery and effective customer feedback loops into development for all product areas.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation in an agile (Scrum) environment.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 15+ years in enterprise software, with hands-on technical leadership in storage, flash, and networking domains (file systems, Linux kernel storage/drivers, network protocols).

- Minimum 8+ years in leadership roles, including at least 2 years in second-level management, with experience building and scaling engineering teams.

- Proven expertise in test strategies, automation frameworks, CI/CD, and release velocity applied to enterprise storage, flash, and networking products.

- Track record of managing projects through full SDLC, delivering resilient, reliable solutions and enabling continuous improvement in agile environments.

- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent.
