Quality Engineer - Automation Testing

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright for UI automation and solid knowledge of SQL for backend validation. You will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks, improving test coverage, and ensuring high product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.

- Build and enhance automation frameworks for web applications.

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and report issues using Jira.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams in Agile environments.

- Improve automation coverage, execution speed, and test stability.

- Maintain test data, reports, and automation documentation.

- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release activities.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience in Playwright automation testing.

- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.

- Experience with UI and API automation testing.

- Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) framework design.

- Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration.

- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
