Quality Automation Lead

Description :

- Automation Tech Lead

- Hands-on experience : 7+ years

- Expected Start Date : immediate

- Domain : Real Estate (Preferred but NOT mandatory)

- Location : Remote

- Work Timings : 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM (IST) | Extendable to 7 PM & on product version release dates. whenever required

Technical Skills :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications

- Excellent verbal & written communication in English

- .NET Core (Ver 6 onwards), BDD, Unit Testing, Automation Testing framework, API Automation, Azure

Mandatory Skills :

- 7+ years of overall Development, QA/Automation experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead/architect role

- Strong hands-on experience in .NET Core (Ver 6 onwards)

- Proven track record in designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch

- Expertise in BDD methodologies and tools such as SpecFlow, Cucumber, or similar

- Knowledge of various testing frameworks (NUnit, MSTest, xUnit, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)

- Hands-on experience in Azure serverless architecture (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus)

- Experience automating event-driven systems and Azure Table Storage operations

- Proficiency in API automation and service-level testing

- Ability to lead and inspire a team of engineers, driving quality culture across teams

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Technical Skills (Nice to have / Optional) :

- Any certification in Software Engineering process / practices / languages / framework

- Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)

- Experience in testing microservices and distributed systems

- Knowledge LLM (OpenAI), AI Tool for Test Automation

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

- Experience in integrating test automation into build/release processes

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust automation frameworks from the ground up

- Guide and mentor a team of engineers to establish best practices in automation, quality assurance, and testing methodologies

- Architect and build automation solutions using .NET Core (version 6 onwards), BDD tools like SpecFlow or Cucumber, and popular testing frameworks

- Implement API automation and service-level testing to ensure reliability and performance of distributed systems

- Drive automation initiatives for event-driven Azure architectures, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and Service Bus

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automation processes into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools

- Promote a quality-first mindset and continuous improvement culture across engineering teams

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and testing challenges efficiently

- Contribute to defining and refining QA/automation strategy aligned with business goals and technology roadmap
