Job Description

Job Title : QA Engineer (Manual Testing Networking Domain)

Experience : 4 to 10 Years

Location : Bangalore

Required Skills :

- 4 to 10 years of experience in Manual Testing

- Strong understanding of Networking Fundamentals

- Good knowledge of OSI Model and TCP/IP Protocol Suite

- Experience testing network-based applications and systems

- Hands-on experience with defect management tools such as Jira or Zoho

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills


Key Responsibilities :


- Analyze and interpret product requirements and specifications to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for new features and existing functionalities.


- Execute manual test cases across various platforms and environments, meticulously documenting test results, identifying defects, and tracking them to resolution using appropriate bug tracking tools.


- Collaborate proactively with development teams to understand technical designs, clarify requirements, and provide timely feedback on software quality throughout the development sprint.


- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing insights and ensuring quality considerations are integrated into every stage of development.


- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure comprehensive coverage and product stability before release.


- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness within the testing lifecycle.


Good to Have :

- Exposure to automation testing using Selenium or Python

- Experience writing Python scripts

- Knowledge of Firewall Rule Validation and Security Testing

- Understanding of IPv4, IPv6, and Dual-Stack networking environments
