Key Responsibilities at this Role :

- Champion a quality-first approach by identifying risks, edge cases, and validating user needs.

- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define requirements and improve product quality.

- Develop risk-based testing strategies across UI, API, integration, and regression testing.

- Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript) or Selenium (Java).

- Drive quality improvements, optimize QA processes, and define release readiness.

- Communicate quality metrics, risks, and test coverage to stakeholders.

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through proactive collaboration and critical thinking.

Skills :

- 7 to 10 years of experience in Software QA and Test Automation, with ownership of quality for complex products.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript) or Selenium (Java).

- Proven experience defining and driving test strategy, including risk analysis, test planning, and release readiness.

- Strong expertise in functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing, with a track record of identifying critical defects.

- Ability to analyze requirements and system designs, identify gaps and risks, and apply structured test design techniques (e.g., boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, pairwise testing).

- Experience designing test scenarios around real-world user journeys, business workflows, and failure cases.
