leads quality assurance for Salesforce Consumer Goods (CG) Cloud applications. This role defines and drives QA strategy, test automation, operations QA, and ETL validation across Trade Promotion Management (TPM) and Key Account Management (KAM) modules. The QA Lead ensures scalable test coverage, reliability, and continuous improvement of QA processes across the Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define QA strategy, framework, and best practices for Salesforce CG Cloud applications.
- Lead and mentor QA Analysts and Engineers, balancing workload and skill development across the team.
- Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting across all releases and integrations.
- Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines to enhance delivery efficiency.
- Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to align QA efforts with business objectives.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, regression, integration, performance, and ETL testing.
- Design and oversee ETL test strategies to validate data quality, completeness, and reconciliation across systems.
- Partner with data engineering teams to validate data pipelines and ensure accuracy across Salesforce CG Cloud integrations.
- Coordinate Ops QA activities including release validation, production regression, and smoke testing.
- Monitor production system health and data integrity, driving proactive issue resolution.
- Lead QA involvement in incident triage, root cause analysis, and post-release validation.
- Track and analyze defect trends, facilitating RCA and preventive improvement actions.
- Report QA metrics, test results, and risk assessments to leadership and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 6 to10 years of experience in QA, including 2 to 3 years in a QA Lead role.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce testing, preferably within Consumer Goods Cloud and TPM modules.
- Proven experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
- Hands-on experience in ETL testing, data validation, and SQL queries.
- Experience with ETL/integration tools (Informatica, MuleSoft, Collibra, Talend, or similar).
- Strong understanding of API testing, CI/CD integration, and test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail).
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience managing QA for global enterprise Salesforce implementations.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Consumer Goods Cloud Accredited Professional.
- Knowledge of data quality assurance and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with test automation in cloud-native CI/CD environments (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
