Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, with hands-on experience in any COTS platforms.
This role demands leadership in QA strategy, test planning, and execution across complex insurance applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8 - 12 years of total QA experience, with at least 5 years in P&C insurance domain.
- Strong experience with PolicyCenter on any COTS platforms (e.g., Duck Creek, Guidewire, Insurity, Majesco etc).
- Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing end-to-end testing lifecycle.
- Expertise on building test strategies, test planning.
- Good to have experience in test automation tools and scripting languages.
- Experience in handling team and guiding the team.
- Strong Customer-facing experience.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with JIRA, ALM, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
Responsibilities :
- Lead QA efforts for P&C insurance projects, focusing on PolicyCenter implementations and integrations.
- Define and implement QA strategy, test plans, and test cases for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring best practices in test automation and manual testing.
- Drive automation initiatives using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in insurance QA processes.
- Participate in release planning, defect triage meetings, and provide QA sign-off for production deployments.
- Work closely with team to validate configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Monitor and report on QA metrics, test coverage, and defect trends to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve QA processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
